Dealing with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)

I just never took the time to really unerstand how RA can really put a hamper over your life. I have neglected the sign,s really neglected myself while taking care of everyone else. It really reared its ugly head few months ago and attacked me. One day i'm in bliss with a new baby added to our family next thing i know i can barely walk, I feel ill all the time, to the point i have to pull myself up the stairs to my house to then fall into my bed. This auto immune disease will not be the end of my life... I just decided to fight it. I will document on this blog because i want to be able to inform others. Just to let you know.... IT SUCKS

I recently borrowed a book from the library called Practical Paleo. I listen to the author's podcast and follow her blog. Anyway, Practical Paleo is a cookbook and offers lots of meal-plans, one of which is an autoimmune protocol. Lots of people who have turned to diet to heal themselves and realize they have autoimmune issues have found success/healing with her protocol. I have other resources for dealing with autoimmune disease too if you are interested. :)
