Whats for Dinner?

So after a lot of reading and finally some time to do research other things than nursing stuff, Red meat has become an important meat that needs to be eliminated out my diet. Now that isn't hard for me because I'm not really a beef person, I cook more chicken and fish than anything. But I do love my goat meat. Curried goat is one of my favorite dish and I can throw down when it come to making it. I decided what ever is left in my freezer that will be the last of it. So this next couple days will be "ODE to Red Meat" followed up by pictures of my dinner..... ughhh how does turkey meat loaf taste?

I wouldn't give up on red meat just yet. There's lots pointing to the fact that most of the research done about red meat has issues that call into question the validity of the results. (If interested, I'll point you to some in depth discussions about how the research was conducted.) The most important thing about red meat is making sure to get 100% grass-fed red meat. Many of the issues surrounding meat consumption have to do with the fact that the animals are being fed the wrong things and are sick to begin with. Just something to think about before ditching it. I think it can be a healthful part of the diet and I personally feel better with it as part of my diet.
